GAMIAN-Europe – Developing Trust Project – Schizophrenia

GAMIAN-Europe are organising a focus group as part of an ongoing project to identify the care experience of both patients with schizophrenia and psychiatrists – with a focus on positive and negative experiences, interactions, interventions (including treatment decision-making) and ways to optimize experiences/care and treatment.

Carers are an important part of this process and GAMIAN-Europe would like to invite members of people diagnosed with schizophrenia to attend a focus group to understand their perspectives and experiences of treatment and care. Attached is a summary of the project which provides a few more details. The focus group will be between 1.5 to 2 hours long and will include patients. A date is still to be set but will be towards the end of Sept 2022.

Please see here for a more detailed outline of the project.

If you are interested in taking part please contact: Cecilia Angulo (Projects and Policy Manager) at GAMIAN-Europe – email: secretariat@gamian.eu
